Purpose

Cooperation around Czechia’s public presence and future visibility.

This page is for people, organisations and public-facing projects that want to support accurate reference to Czechia and connect with the wider work of Civic Initiative Czechia.

Cooperation may concern naming guidance, country-identity material, educational use, media context, cultural presentation, professional visibility, STEM and business links, AI-augmented communication or public corrections where Czechia is named inaccurately or inconsistently.

The focus is civic, communicational and future-facing. For official state procedures, consular matters, legal issues, visa questions, travel bookings or commercial services, readers should contact the relevant public authority or professional service provider.

Principles

What makes cooperation useful.

Accuracy Use Czechia where a short country name is expected. Partner material should help readers distinguish the short geographic name Czechia from the formal political name of the state.
Public value Leave something usable. A strong cooperation creates a clear page, a contact point, a source, an image, a corrected label, an educational note or a public reference that others can reuse.
Future readiness Prepare the name for systems that will carry it forward. Czechia should remain stable across media, search, maps, education, metadata, AI-assisted work, professional profiles and future public-knowledge structures.

Who can cooperate

Partners may come from different public fields.

Civic and community Initiatives, associations, diaspora groups and friends of Czechia. Cooperation may support naming clarity, civic visibility, public corrections, shared references or respectful country-presentation work.
Culture and education Museums, schools, universities, publishers, festivals and educators. Cooperation may connect Czechia with language, history, literature, music, film, landscapes, regions, public memory and learning resources.
Media and editorial Journalists, editors, producers, podcasters and public communicators. Cooperation may concern interview context, naming guidance, country-reference checks, public communication material and editorial clarity.
STEM and innovation Researchers, technologists, engineers, educators and AI-aware teams. Cooperation may connect Czechia with science, technology, applied education, responsible AI use, data clarity, digital knowledge systems and future-facing public communication.
Business and professional fields Companies, consultants, creators and professional communities. Cooperation may support Czechia’s visibility through competence, cross-border work, language precision, responsible entrepreneurship and international professional networks.
Switzerland link Basel and Switzerland form a concrete cooperation bridge. Through Václav Šulista’s public role and professional presence in Switzerland, the initiative also has a practical connection with Czechia–Switzerland visibility, business culture and civic communication.

Public presence

Cooperation should make Czechia visible through concrete work.

The Czechia LinkedIn page is an additional public channel for updates, visibility and professional connection.

Useful cooperation does not reduce Czechia to a slogan. It shows the country through fields, people, projects and knowledge: culture, education, STEM, business, media, civic work, technology, professional practice and future-facing public systems.

Field-based visibility Show Czechia through competence, culture and public value. Partnerships are strongest when they help readers see what Czechia contributes: ideas, expertise, institutions, creators, research, business practice, cultural memory and civic presence.
International bridges Connect Czechia with places where Czechia is active and recognised. Cooperation may strengthen links with Czechia-connected professionals, friends of Czechia, public institutions, cultural actors and international environments such as Switzerland, where Czechia has a concrete professional and civic presence.

Honorary Consulate note

Basel is an important Czechia–Switzerland link, not a general inbox.

Václav Šulista serves as Honorary Consul of Czechia in Basel, Switzerland. This creates a concrete bridge for Czechia–Switzerland visibility, especially around professional contact, business culture, civic presence, science, technology, education and public communication.

Honorary consular work is limited and tied to the official consular district, office framework and instructions of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It should not be treated as a general contact point for every Czechia-related request.

Appropriate direction Official consular matters should follow official MFA and Embassy instructions. For consular services, documents, verification, emergency situations or formal procedures, readers should check the current information of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Czechia in Bern first.
Do not overload Website, media, tourism, private and commercial requests do not belong there. Please do not contact the Honorary Consul for general website questions, tourism planning, job requests, sponsorship requests, commercial offers, media pitches, school projects, translation tasks or private legal advice.
  • Use the initiative email for this project Questions about Civic Initiative Czechia, Czechia — The Heart of Europe, media, partnerships, website material or public corrections should go to czechia.initiative@gmail.com.
  • Use official channels for official procedures Consular, legal, visa, document and emergency matters belong to the relevant Czech public authority, embassy, consular section or qualified adviser.

How to propose cooperation

Send the context, not only the request.

A useful cooperation message explains who is writing, what the proposal concerns, why it matters for Czechia’s public presentation and whether anything is time-sensitive.

  • Who you are Name, organisation or project, public link, role and country or city if relevant.
  • What the cooperation concerns Naming, media context, education, culture, STEM, AI-augmented communication, business visibility, partner listing, correction, event, article, interview or public material.
  • Where the cooperation belongs Explain whether the proposal connects with media, education, culture, STEM, business, AI-augmented communication, professional visibility, public references, events, articles, interviews or partner material.
  • Preferred language and timing English, Czech, German, French, Russian or another language, plus any deadline or publication date.

Boundaries

Where to direct other matters.

Official procedures Use the relevant Czech public authority. Visas, citizenship, consular matters, law, public administration and official statistics belong to ministries, embassies, public offices or qualified advisers.
Commercial services Use the relevant professional or provider. Travel bookings, private contracts, paid services, sales enquiries and supplier offers are not handled as civic partnership requests.
Responsible cooperation Keep the purpose public-interest and source-aware. This page is for cooperation around Czechia’s public presentation, not for party campaigning, private lobbying, unrelated listings or mass promotional requests.
